Book Authors
FIU acknowledges the publishing of books by faculty as a major contribution to academic scholarship and the advancement of knowledge. Each spring at the Faculty Impact Event, faculty authors are recognized for their published works. These publications represent a wide range of disciplines and highlight the university’s role in shaping conversations across the arts, humanities, sciences, and professional fields.
Since 2010, faculty books have also been displayed in the Faculty Authors section at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus, creating a lasting record of FIU’s contributions to scholarship and public discourse.
For your publication to be recognized:
- Books must have an ISBN
- Books must be sold by a publisher or distributor
- Books must be written or co-written by an FIU faculty member
More information about the books and their authors can be found at FIU Discovery.
