Faculty Inventors

FIU celebrates faculty inventions each spring at the Faculty Impact Event, cohosted by the Office of the Provost and the Office of Research and Economic Development.

Faculty who have received U.S. patents are recognized for their contributions to research, discovery, and technology transfer. Their work strengthens FIU’s reputation across both public and private sectors and demonstrates the university’s role in advancing solutions that benefit society.
